I actually think the reason it's been so frustrating is, even if some can't see it, there have been very few games where we have been genuinely bad, but we are failing to put away chances and it always leaves us under pressure. That is what typical Barnsley means for me, not a million miles away from being a sound team at this level, let's just hope the new manager, whoever he is, can add that missing element. It will be tough though to say the least.
The way that I see it that it is typical of us to be in the ascendency only to concede. Its down to defending from the front to the back so not just aimed at the beack 3 or 4 per se. It seems to me to be a mixture of lack of concentration, positioning and probably a lack of agression an putting your neck on the line for the cause. I'm perplexed as to how we can lose games consistently like we do when some of the teams in this division are ****; potentially shitter than us as well.
Agreed. From what I have seen and heard this season, we are not by any means terrible. The Spackman / Parkin team that took us down was actually absolutely rubbish. Not sure if the same can be said for the current team.
