Tyre size - 91v or 91w

    Speed rating. W's can withstand higher speeds.

    V is rated to 149mph
    W rated to 168mph

    Officially you should fit the rating recommended by the Manufacturer - though no problem to fit higher.

    ie if you have a 2 litre mondeo its OK to fit W tyres but you shouldnt fit S rated (112) to a Ferrari

    Cheers chaps. Just had four new

    tyres, the old ones were 91V and I notice the new ones are 91W.</p>

    </p>

    So I should be OK.</p>
