Let's hope a proper boxer dumps him and his entourage out of the game soon.

Unbelievable achievement. Anything else is irrelevant. Well done Tyson.

Overzealous club doorman who thinks he's a 'bit tasty'. Nowt more. Any half-decent fighter would systematically take him apart.

Whilst I fully accept that we often don't know the darker character traits of our sporting heroes, when they are as overt and repugnant as this man's we ought as sports fans to take note. For those who haven't picked up on this, a Guardian article gives a flavour of the man:

    http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2015/nov/30/tyson-fury-wladimir-klitschko

A better and more damning account was the excellent one written by Matt Dickinson in yesterday's Times.

I get that you really like him and wanted him to win, but the fact that he holds repugnant views and is willing to express them openly is far from irrelevant. I respect his achievement on a purely sporting level but he deserves to get slammed for saying the things he does and furthermore it's important that he does get slammed. If everyone ignores what he says, as you suggest, then the silence is a tacit acceptance that his views are acceptable.

he is delusional, but not much more than that from what i can see. Fury i meant not Whitey !! But there are many world champions now and in the past in various sports that have been worse. Come to think of it, just sportsmen irrespective of the Champion status.

Opened his mouth and chatted sh*t.

He should stick to boxing talk instead of his rants from the dark ages.

But, the best Heavy weight boxer in the last 15 years couldnt!
I have watched it again and I think as a fight it was very poor, but it wasn`t Fury`s fault that Wlad got old, he fought the best fight in his career and won the titles, against Wlad of 3/4 years ago it wouldn`t have happened, but Fury took his chance well.
I still think Fury is poor, but he did fight just the way to win on Saturday.

He's a bit of a tit at times but after seeing how much of a moron his dad is I've warmed to him of late.

I don't go along with that.

Parky gets stick because he knocks about with a Tory who runs Reading & Goughy loves to big up Spurs & MK Dons but I don't think either get any real abuse

Stones is pretty much loved by everyone
