An entertaining game saw the young Reds win 3 nil The Reds lined up as follows: Townsend Cameron Scott, Bailey Gooda, Marc Roberts, George Williams George Maris, Ben Drennan, Brad Abbott, Matt Templeton Harry White, Bradley Ash Coventry included the veteran Stephen Hunt in their line up, but George Williams kept him in check. So much so that Hunt got a little frustrated and there was a little bit of 'hand bags' which didn't phase George at all, he just went in hard with his next tackle and won the ball fairly. Harry White got on the score sheet once again, slotting home a Maris free kick, and just before half time George Williams swung in a cross that went in off the post. The third goal was a superb solo effort by Maris. Dispatches, the defence played well, particularly Marc Roberts and George Williams. White and Maris put themselves about. Templeton had a quiet game. Lee Johnson, Ben Mansford and Patrick Cryne were all at the game, as was Tony Mowbray. Saw Scowen doing some training, looking good.
Great write up and good to read that out development squad are starting to click; well done George Williams sounds like we have good cover in George for both full back positions
Moved back north 13 months ago, but haven't bothered to change name on BBS. Could have kept up the pretence of being the most loyal supporter on the BBS, ha ha.javascript://
I'm in the same boat having moved back north over two years ago. Moving again soon but there's already a Harrogate Red so I'll stick with Risborough I think!
