i wonder. with portsmouth´s league postion in the premier league, ain´t they qualified for the next uefa-cup? and as we know, cardiff can´t play representing england because they are welch. so could that mean that we can play in europe next season anyway?
what about wba wouldnt they have a say never happen losing semi finalists in europe totally unheard of
No Portsmouth get the FA cup qualifying place regardless of the result at Wembley Should they finish in a league Uefa cup qualifying place as they have already qualified that league place goes to the team 1 below. No idea what happens if they Finish in a champions League place - but its not likely to happen
No Cardiff will get the spot if they win it i reckon, fecking stupid seen as they sign a disclaimer to say they cant every year, but then dispute it when they get to the final!
i guess if cardiff can´t play in uefa, they would have to pick the team they played against in the fa-cup semi finals, us. Brom lost against Pompey, so they should´nt have anything to say.
Sam Hamman started arguing the fact to the governing bodies and he was pushed over a year ago now si we have been arguing the fact for years but it was always a "What if" question where as now its reality.
its a lovely thought, but i think our only chance of getting into europe is to write a really good song!
It's official Cardiff can play in the UEFA cup if they beat Portsmouth.
http://www.the-onion-bag.com/index.php
