    Did you know that the Ukraine is one of the few countries that not only is it landlocked but to reach the coast you have to travel through TWO other countries regardless of which direction you travel.

    Any prizes for posting useless facts?

    Ukrainian's love some kind of raw fat called sala (salo?). Just tasted like lard to me. The russians seem to take great delight in making jokes about the Ukrainian's and their sala, although they weren't really funny. </p>

    I also ate some kind of ukrainian pot roast with garlic. Which was fantastic.</p>

    Maybe merde-tete knows more about this.
