Can you recollect the Blades matches you attended between 1966-71 ?

    Good idea.

Then you can write it all down and pretend you went too.

blimey, brings back some memories that. My cousin married Tom Fenoughtys sister, Michael Bouldings father. There is still a Fenoughty in the directors box at the lane. I seem to remember Oxford Uniteds first ever game at the Lane they beat t'Blades 2-1.

    Hockey died 10 years ago.

RE: The Fenoughty in the directors box will be this guy....

That's him. Nick and Mick Fehoughty played with Tom Fenoughty at Matlock Town via Chesterfield. Michael Boulding is their nephew.

to be honest i think Cec Coldwell and Doc Pace had left by 1966. The mid -sixties side was mainly youngsters , Badger, Bernard Shaw, Munks, Woody. Exciting times but never did anything in the cups. Wednesday were a reasonable side as well. "All your mates", where did you live ?
