Terrible passing, apart from a few decent ones from Bailey, none of which set up a scoring chance though.

Free kicks and corners struggling to beat the first defender - amateurish.

Jennings was as poor as every other time he pulls on the shirt (Chester away aside, obviously)

Lost 2-1 I think but the transmission dropped out so often I gave up on it and reloaded the whole game after it had finished and sort of skimmed through it. Glad I didn't make the effort to drive over for it.

I watched it and I saw the team on twitter and it said Jennings. Now I tried really hard to find where he was, I was obviously looking for him on the wings and I even went and looked at the academy scholars page on the website to see if we had another Jennings he was that bad. I want him to do really well but he needs to go back to basics and put more of a shift in, the rest will come natural as he has talent.

I went. Jennings was abysmal. Has serious temperament issues and gave up at times in the second half, unhappy with the service he was getting. The sooner he leaves the better.

Thought George Williams looked decent and would like to see Bailey given another chance along side a couple of ball winners like Scowen and Pearson. Oates put a shift in but to little effect.

The ref had a shocker, turning down two penalty claims for Barnsley, one of which was a stone waller, then giving the blunts one down the other end that looked soft. Overall nothing much to get excited about.

Chris Morgan started chuntering when a few lads started singing Iain Hume etc, which made me smile but otherwise a very drab affair...

Agree about Williams and Bailey. Both too good not to get another chance. I think Bailey alongside Scowen might work when Pearson goes back. Much as I like Ben I don't think he and Scowen work well together.

It was 2-1 to SU, yes?

Yep 2-1 to the blunts. They shut up shop second half and we hadn't got the nous to break them down...

Yes that's how it looked on screen. Much like the first team then!

If Jennings is not happy with the service he was getting I find it strange that the solution is to get shut of him????

Openly showing that kind of dissent and frustration is really poor for team spirit, especially when you're playing with young lads. Poor from a more senior professional. And when he did get the ball, he didn't do much with it. Should have had a penalty mind in the first half...

I still think there is something still in him. He is under a lot of pressure to perform and I think at times he tries too hard.

Who was the big lad up front with Oates? Number 10? Black fringey hair?

I looked at the teams - could it be this Kassouri guy?

Yep, they were calling him Billy I think. He worked hard but looked out of his depth...

Jennings (imho) has loads and loads of talent but has typified us this season. Well if he thinks he will get a new deal here or that another club will come in for him with the performances he has put in, he will be conference at best.
Scouts know all about him and shake their heads watching him. Hope he still mates with the gaffer at MK!

Oh I thought that was Maris. Reminded me of Rory Fallon (the worst of him, I mean - not the one that scored goals for everybody else!)

Chester will have been impressed with him. Not far from his roots. Hey.....sounds like a plan!
