FORMER Barnsley midfielder Richard Kell will today look to kick start his career after his Oakwell injury nightmare by signing a one-month deal with League Two side Lincoln City.

The 27-year-old joined the Reds in the summer of 2005 despite suffering a fractured leg playing for Scnuthorpe earlier that year. He recovered to make four first team appearances and spent time out on loan at Scarborough.

Richard never really showed his true potential at Oakwell despite further surgery in a bid to recover fully from his fractured leg. His contract expired in the summer and Richard has been training with the Reds since.
