Bolton haven't really been able to put any quality together so far. But saying that, barring the goal some decent play by the midfield, neither have we. We need to hope that this sin't one of our Jeckyl and Hyde matches though where we totally switch off in the second half.
Not much quality on show, but we are in front so who cares. We need to finish them off. Another goal would do just that! We need to keep it on the deck going forward, Moore is ineffective as predicted, and has picked up a yellow card for his frustrations. Mcburnie probably our best player, looking to make things happen, and its down to his persistence that we are 1-0 up.
They has been a few times this season when we have undeservbly lost or drawn so i would take a 1 nil win and get hammered. Having said that Bolton have pushed up but created next to nothing so far imo.
We've lacked quality but we've completely controlled the game. There's only one side that looks capable of winning it. Play like that again second half and we'll see it through. COYR!
Worrying thing is, both teams looked to scared of making a mistake, which is understandable considering whats on the line. But the longer the match goes with us in front, the less Bolton will have to lose which may lift the pressure off them...
Scrappy game, good goal. Ref, surprisingly, diabolical. Moore is just stronger than their CBS. We def need a second goal as we will sit deeper and deeper, and if they score momentum will be theirs to win it I reckon. Massive half. Will show whether we deserve to stay up or go down.
So much confusion defending corners. No one seems to know who should be staying up and who’s dropping back to defend. Moncur backwards and forwards like a fiddlers elbow.
