Sign of the times. Sitting in front of a keyboard everyone's a knowall. And nobody knows how to respect others' opinions.

Criticising former and current players...guess everyone has an opinion, even if some are daft

Criticising players we've never even seen kick a ball yet....just weird!

It's bizarre. If ever you fancy feeling a bit confused about BFC, log on to the BBS. Where all players are expected to score with each shot, where attackers must be able to defend and defenders attack, where goalkeepers who have great games and pull off great saves are still written off, where all players must seemingly have to walk around with a big smile on their face or be saying "I ******* love Barnsley" out loud. Where players can achieve things beyond supporters' wildest dreams only to then be told 'that is in the past so no longer matters'. Where players break records that have stood for nearly 40 years or more but are still lambasted as not good enough or unproven. Where random Belgians are written off for having a trial at Bradford or lauded as the next big thing based on a youtube video. :D

You forgot to add that if they dare to want better themselves by moving on to a bigger club then they are the biggest ****ers alive

If people want to criticise players then if they put why then it's okay.

people just want the best and if you don't then you can't complain if others do.

I don't think anything put on here that I can see's bad.

People are looking at players and thinking are you good enough. It hurt to be relegated two years ago a lot. Flitcroft took your why not get behind the players. He should have been thinking when the whistle went at Huddersfield are you good enough and that stuck with people including me.

If next Saturday goes really bad after travelling 360/370 miles round trip Jack Tatty the internet might not be a place for you if that upsets you.

After the season these players have just given us anyone who rips into them next Saturday whether it's gone bad or not should be UTTERLY ashamed of themselves.

    But that's gone.

Lewis Hamilton, Leo Messi, Andy Murray Alistair Cook Joe Root don't just think I achieved something brilliant it's okay if i'm not at by best. They get that goal and go again to be even better.

They are the best and would get away with it at times, so if they strive to be the very best why shouldn't a group of players that in reality haven't done that much

So you think the JPT and finishing 6th is the pinnacle for any of our players.

Only if John Stones had stayed hey, he could have been relegated but don't bother with England caps and trying to win the champ league you could have won the JPT. Unlucky John

Is Barnsley the club for you?

I dont think it is striving hard enough to meet your expectations.

I never gave an opinion, Phil.

Of course these lads will want more success, to achieve more. And I'd like them to do that as reds players. But I'm realistic. And what they achieved last season has been universally accepted by fans and neutrals alike as pretty much miraculous.

    'the miracle of Barnsley'

No idea why you've referred to John Stones. He's had a torrid time. Couldn't get a game in the worst England tournament side in decades (probably a good thing), was torn to pieces for Everton last year by opponents and fans. He's hardly a decent yardstick for success is he?

I'd have suggested Danny Drinkwater as a more fitting example.

But I get your point. I think.

We should expect Barnsley to succeed this season as well. Well, I expect you might be disappointed, mate. :D

Thanks Mum, you gave birth to me, brought me up and all that but you're getting a bit old now. See ya.
Ohhh and I've just registered your last sentence. Haven't done much???????????? Who the hell do you think we are???? We're NOT repeat NOT Barcelona. We never will be. Sorry to give you a reality check there.
They have just won our first cup in 104 years and given us one of the most memorable seasons in virtually the same length of time. Sometimes you leave me absolutely speechless.
