Well no, if we get promoted he'll be remembered more for that and this will be a bizarre footnote when it comes out that Lincoln had been taking those pills from the film Limitless. But then I don't think many teams tend to get promoted after losing 5-1 at home to a team some way below them in the table so maybe you're right.
In all fairness, old mate, there's a number who rarely post when we're winning matches, but can't stop posting on the rare ocassions when we lose!
I know its quite sad really.We all know it was a bad performance but foot stamping and dummy spitting doesn't do anybody any good.We've had a pretty lengthy excellant run with a couple of defeats thrown into the mix.Lets hope this is kick up the backside to get the players focused and back on track for the remaining games.
At full time this young bloke said to me "what do you think" I replayed it was poor,"poor" he said it was rubbish,do you think it was rubbish,not very good was it I said,yes but he aint got a clue as he,do you think hes got a clue,well we've had a decent 20 odd games haven't we I said,yes but we've been rubbish in nearly all them games,do you think we've been rubbish in nearly all them games.It was like being on carousel where you couldn't get off. When I say young man I mean a bloke in his late forties. I think if I.d have said yes we were rubbish after his opening gambit I could have saved a lot of time and my sanity.
Didn't Norwich get promoted a few years ago, after losing 7-1 at home to Colchester earlier in the season?
You cannot use this comparison, it was the 1st game of the season and Norwich ended up taking Lambert from Colchester to get them promoted. In this case we’ve been dicked 1-5 at home with 10 games to go… the only thing we can cling to is Bolton put 5 past Posh away from home around this time last season and Posh should’ve made the Play-off final….
Whenever people talk about the ‘great escape’ under Flicker do they talk about the fact we got done 6-0 at home to Charlton near the end of the season? Of course not! But don’t let a fact like that get in the way of a post match rant.

That's a fair point. I guess I'm starting to put myself in that bracket. I don't want to, cos I think recently we've been brilliant. But today has been a real let down, and sometimes we have to vent somewhere. I use this place to vent instead of at someone at home. Hard to strike a good balance at times. Especially after something like today tbh
