Just finished a 6 week stint of work in India and got four weeks at home, and having not been to watch the Reds for two years i will definitely be going to both the United and Preston games. I cannot wait!!! Promising times by the sounds of the reports you guys post on here. Due to me being an "armchair fan" and living in Sheffield i have no idea where to go before the Match for a Drink. Where do all you guys go?

Groggers is normally decent for a bit of atmosphere late on but it's a struggle getting served!

As has been mentioned No.7, Courthouse, Chennells. There's also two Wetherspoon pubs, The Joseph Bramah and The Silkstone Inn that are decent enough and obviously do food as well.

Old No 7 for town, Dove if you want a bit closer to the ground (and they do pie and peas on match days), or Redfearns (also pie and peas) at the ground if you want to just crawl out close to kick off!

You're not wrong,it's a dump and the ales ***** but for a sing song and a cracking atmosphere before the game you can't beat it,I'll be raising a glass of whatever dodgy tasting ***** I'll be supping and saying Sithi to the old place.
