Unlike Ipswich in 2000, would have been a travesty if we had lost that

  1. Swansea, for all their big new stadium and big new crowd, and big time Charlie up front (well done Mr Jackett for NOT bringing Trundle on sooner)....for all that, we were NOT second best today. Doesn't matter who finished where, or who had more points. Doesn't matter now that we blew it so many times this season to get a top two spot. Just one fantastic day, one amazing result and I can't wait for August!!!

Wish we still had that big time Charlie you speak of

Looks a hell of a centre forward to me.

    Rubbish.

Sorry. We were second best by such a distance you'd have needed the Hubble telescope.

  4. Was talking about Trundle, not the Kiwi

Rory did look good, and what a fantastic goal. Trundle tried to win it all by himself but had he been on from the start he might just have done it for them.

  5. Don't agree!

They were just as good at giving the ball away as we were. I would have been disgusted had we lost that today, unlike 2000 when the best team by a mile won, and we could accept that with good grace. Today was two even matched, pretty average sides, with winner takes all. Not fair really is it, winning like that, but who cares:)

Love to see Fallon back with us

With Chopra feeding off his flicks and Hayes providing the passes.

    You went, didn't you?

There are two different versions of the game, 'cos the team I watched were lucky.

Don't get me wrong, I cheered as loud as anyone else. Just that I couldn't believe we were still in the game.

Fallon and Robinson, best players on pitch. Trundle, given the freedom of the park. Reid kept us in it. Without him and, at times, Kay and Hassle, we were dead and buried.

trundle looked very poor today, Fallon did play well, and knight played well off him.</p>

Richards worked himself to a standstill.</p>

Nads ? did not really figure, oh sorry he scored the goal !!!![IMG]</p>

I said as he was about to take the free kick 'come on lad, this is your time, your moment, your stage....do it !!!'</p>

    And he didn't disappoint !!</p>

You went as well, didn't you?

Trundle created about five chances and was unlucky with about half of those.

Sorry, if he was poor, I'd love to see a good third division player.

he got some space down the flanks, but apart from the one he put wide of Colgans right hand post I'm not convinced.
