Just found out today from a "employee" at the club that Season tickets at the club are down by 27% on last season. Im not going to reveal the source because the staff have been "instructed" to not discuss any marketing or sales activity at the club. Wether the Pro davey believe this or not, the general concensus in the admin and office staff at the club is that PC has not helped merchandise and season ticket sales by sticking with Davey. Financialy in terms of season ticket sales the club are down by £505K and this includes price reductions on last year
Not that suprising though that is it..... keeping that useless fat welsh toss-pot in charge! you reap what you sew im afraid to say... (shithappens)
two weeks ago queueing out of door this week 500k down? I heard that we have sold training ground to mcdonalds so players can grab a bite to eat. how many box office staff have access to the profit /loss charts?
3 of us renewed when we said we wouldn't. but 1 totally refused said he's not giving up his time to watch that davey *****. much like alityke has done.
'Im not going to reveal the source because the staff have been "instructed" to not discuss any marketing or sales activity at the club'. Yet your source has already showed a massive lack of integrity by telling you and then allowing you to talk about it on here. So I'm not sure how mjuch weight can be placed on someone who already has shown he will 'sleep wit h the hare and run with the hound; in terms of credibility. I have no doubt season ticket sales will be down but would think the recession plays a key part in this not just Davey.
RE: 3 of us renewed when we said we wouldn't. but 1 totally refused Don't believe that. She's only not going cos her young un aint going. Don't let her pull the wool over your eyes!!
The people who sell the season tickets wont know what the financial sides are of it. The only person i would think will know his don rowing or who's in nearly everyday anyway. What i got told his that they had been really busy during the last week of June.
Those selling season tickets will have a good idea how up/down sales are even without seeing official figures.
Compared to this time last year, almost every business is down 20-30%. Folk are loosing their jobs all over the place. £300 is a lot of cash when ur worried about your other financial commitments. Don't think it's just the Davey effect. Folk are skint.
Less STs - fine , means more tickets available to die-hards - hope we get priority for any massive away games.
