While being present at the encouraging performance at home to Hull City, I noticed there was loads of grass growing through the red track surrounding the pitch. Surely this has to be sorted before the season kicks off? It looks very amateur and very lower league.
Its probably because the groundsman is now the physio, the physio is the coach, the coach is the manager, and the FOC Chairman's feightin o'er reducing the ov'r'eeads. Tr e R d.
Just been in conversation with one of the ground staff about the weeds. Just informed me that they are under staffed and the trainin pitches took priority. He assures me that it will be in a tip top weed free condition for satdys clash with Leeds.
If that's all thats wrong (catering excepted of course!) ... then I'll be a happy chap come the end of the season!
What do expect from a groundstaff whos working hours per week have reduced to 20 hours from 40, dont tell me the clubs not counting the pennies!!!
Quote "It looks very amateur and very lower league".... errrrr...... we are lower league. Perhaps that's why it's full of weeds.
RE: Quote "It looks very amateur and very lower league".... "It looks very amateur and very lower league"....errrrr...... we are lower league. Yes we are so shall we pack in all together? Hey we could sell the big stand to Sheffield United they could do with a at least one decent stand, Thought not N*b head. Although its a trivial thing, if we dont give a sh*t about the details nobody else is going to.
RE: Quote "It looks very amateur and very lower league".... Went darn t'well today to renew me season ticket and took the opportunity to nip inside the ground for our usual sit in our seats. They have been busy removing all the grass from around the pitch (on the red sandy areas). They were either just waiting to do it before open day, or someone reads this BB.
