Anyone know of any that are interesting? A few I've been reading about. The disappearance of Lars Mittank. A young German man on holiday called his parents to say his life was in danger and he was being chased by four men. He cancelled his credit cards and went to the local airport to see a doctor. CCTV footage shows him arriving, going to the docotrs waiting area and then almost immediately jumping up leaving all his possessions behind and sprinting out of the airport where he scales a fence and runs into the nearby woods never to be seen of again. Police remain baffled. Death of Elisa Lam. A young Chinese lass was staying at an hotel in america when she disappeared. Police searched the hotel (though not every room as they had no significant evidence to suggest a murder or kidnapping so couldn't obtain a warrant). After checking CCTV they found the last known movements of Lam was seen entering the elevator, pressing random buttons and then peering out into the hallway before retreating back into the lift and standing back to he wall, this carried on for around 3 minutes with her looking or going out, appearing frightened and retreating back inside pressing more buttons. During the clip she can be seen shielding hers face, covering her ears at times and talking either to herself or to someone else off camera. It is worth noting at this point that no drugs (other than standard prescription medication) had been taken by her and also that she was bipolar. Anyway shortly after her disappearance other hotel guests complained of low water pressure and badly smelling and tasting water. Around 3 weeks after she went missing hotel maintenance staff found her body naked in a water tank on the roof. Key facts that make this a bigger mystery are that the roof was locked and alarmed, the water tank was 8 foot tall AND on a 2 foot concrete block and the lid to the tank was way too heavy for her to have lifted herself, especially too heavy for her to have replaced the lid afterwards. Firemen had to cut the tank open to gain access due to how difficult the lid was. An autopsy showed no evidence of drugs, sexual assault or injury. Lipstick boy. In the late 90s near lake Windermere a father and his 14 year old son disappeared after leaving the boys grandfather's house. A few weeks later they were found dead from an apparent car accident. The car was on its roof and both were dead with the boy ruled to have died instantly. Nothing particularly unusual here, its a ritual area so not discovering the accident for a few weeks whilst unsettling can easily be explained. The mystery however comes from the fact that on the boys lips was lipstick transferred by a kiss almost 2 weeks after his death. That's right two weeks after the time of death somebody kissed this boy yet reported nothing to the police and has never come forward. To make the situation even weirder the lipstick was a brand most popular with young girls between the ages of 10 and 12.
I think the Elisa Lam one has been debunked. It was possible for her to get in there and she had a history of mental illness which would explain the hallucinations https://medium.com/matter/haunted-947d642a6d59#.uao8dtbn0 Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
The part of that that I struggle with is that apparently she could have accessed the tank using a ladder (what with the tank being about 9 feet or so off the ground) which is fair enough except there was no ladder so if she climbed in then somebody has been up on the roof afterwards and hidden the ladder

All these ufo mysteries, events witnessed by loads of different people at the same time, so no collusion, but then debunked by the authorities as mass hysteria or weather balloons. The truth is out there my friends.
