I'm not one to complain generally about the way bfc run things BUT today has left me angry and upset. Th ereason is I went down to oakwell to day to go get a ticket fot the celsea game, so with daughter in hand goes to back of que, which i was expecting, only to be told ' NOT SELLING ANY MORE TICKETS' When I asked whty i was told chronical had made printting error and was closing at 12 not 3 and they were only selling to 150 people today . WEll for F**Ks sake it a saturday people not at work, only chance to get there and get my ticket. Wot the eck are you supposed to do????? BAD BAD planning to only be opened till 12 today of all days. Angry and upset don't when I can get now and no one who can go who aint working!! Sorry just had to get this pf my chest n moan about it. Also sorry if someone as already posted something similer.
You're right to complain The track record on this sort of thing is absolutely appalling. Shame on you BFC.
It's common sense to open the ticket office 9-5 saturday and sunday Sometimes the club is so out of touch with what the fans want it is beyond belief
RE: It's common sense to open the ticket office 9-5 saturday and sunday Woman from ticket office claims"her staff have families as well." Fair dos but this is only a few weekends out of the season. Its hardly maga busy all year round. I feel the cup run is just an inconvenience for some.
So does anyone who works in a shop. There's a clue, Don. If you're trying to sell summat, you open to suit the people wanting to buy it.
wait till next saturday when theres more wednesday fans at oakwell than reds. why? because its all ticket and no one can get owt near oakwell for a chelsea ticket let alone one for wednesday.
precisly club shop should open 9-5 on saturdays as a matter of course. I've heard the excuse of overtime/39 hour a week contracts before as to why they can't do it. Close at 12pm on wednesdays then... not hard is it
my mate has been trying to buy a ticket for wednesday match all week but because we only have one queue for all the tickets (learn anything after liverpool/coaches did we?) he can' as he cant afford to queue all day on a ccount of having a job.
I went to the fish market this aft Tried to buy some cod, but the fish monger told me to **** off, what with him already having served 150 customers earlier in the day.
you should have perhaps done the decent thing and queued from 2am in the freezing cold in the hope of getting that delicious piece of cod.
I feel the same as you, same thing happened to me. As we all work, (Sheffield & Leeds) we are going to struggle now, someone is going to have to use a holiday, (if we can get one) or rely on Tuesday night's queue not being too long, but not hopeful of that either. I know that the club can't please everyone but Saturday or Sunday is the only day some workers can get, and 3 hours opening time is not very good under the circumstances. and it's a bit nerve wracking to leave it until next Saturday.
Exactly. There is a huge demand for tickets from people who live all over the country, work 9-5 from Monday to Friday, and loads won't have any annual leave left. So, make sure they have to turn up in person, between 9-5 from Monday to Friday, and show great flexibility by also giving them a 3 hour window on Saturday. Obviously ex-middle management from the public sector.
Wots Needed Wots needed to do that? Is it just a cheque stamped addressed envolope match voucher? Is anything else needed?
i just sent a letter by recorded post on wednesday with my season ticket voucher d (i photocopied the voucher for myself just in case). My tickets arrived this morning. I would send a SAE to be sure.
