    The ground is in one of the boroughs that make up Greater Manchester, that Borough is Trafford. Salford is a separate borough. D/t is right though as Salford is mainly reds. Manchester Evening News did a survey to see which area of the City were red and which were blue. Surprisingly to some there are more reds in Manchester than blues. Of course the mainly blue areas were places going out towards the Stockport area

    Isn't that because Man City fans are all based Stockport way?

    Only reason I asked the question was because I was sure I read something said more United fans were from Manchester than Citeh

    Yeah a lot of Citeh fans are from areas like Gorton and Denton which are heading out towards Stockport. The MEN poll showed that Manchester was predominately red.
