    You will be interested to read that there's a scientist in USA who every day fires a laser at the moon. He has worked out that the moon has moved 3.6cm away from the earth and if this continues, in years to come, there will be no such thing as an eclipse.

    hehe, I saw that on sky at night aswell. top programme(y)</p>

    Apparently they aim for a group of reflectors placed on the moon during the moon landings and bounce the laser back off it.</p>
