Bit gutted today, should be able to hold onto a 2 goal lead at home but if you dont close players down quickly enough then you get what you deserve, Freddy Eastwood is a good player, Southend are top of the league for a reason.
Thought Nardiello looked very dangerous today, gave 100%, looked up for it. He did the hard bit but didnt do what hes best at, finishing.
Tommy Wright won just about everything in the air, looked more like getting sent off than scoring though.
Mcphail took the piss again, hes been outstanding lately.
Shuker/Devaney back to their best.
Reid played very well.
The ref was *****, like always, disallowed a perfectly good goal by Hayes. Maybe it was becasue of their manager intimidating him at half time. ******. Linesman was ***** too, just as bad as the referee. Never given a linesman as much stick as today, credit to the fan who tried hitting him with the ball, throw a fcking brick next time.
Nice new home kit, glad theyve got rid of the black and replaced it with white.
