She is to have her operation tomorrow morning at 9:30 . May I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their messages of goodwill to Laura . It meant a lot to her , as indeed it did to Crystal and myself . Please forgive me for not staying on the board tonight as I'm not really in a "chatty" mood . Once again , thank you all for your concern and good luck messages . Kevin

Update on Laura Mark 2 Just thought I'd let everyone know she's had her operation and is back on the ward . Her legs are all bandaged up and she's been throwing up , but she's as well as can be expected . Kev
RE: Cheers mate She'll be up and about in no time mate.
They'll look after her well in there and you should be grateful for the peace and quiet!!!!

RE: Update on Laura Mark 2 send her my best wishes, and tell her Harvest Beige was doing a 'special' tail wag.
She was giggling like mad When she read your post to her ! Woe betide anyone who looks in on Laura when she comes home , though . The German Shepherd is very protective towards her at the best of times . The mind boggles at what the dog will be like whilst Laura's recuperating !!!
She gets her brains from her Dad !! Please don't tell Crystal I said that ! Please , please , please !!!
Update on Laura Mark 3 Just got back from the hospital AGAIN . The surgeon's been round and told us the operation was a complete success !! With a bit of luck , she might even be allowed home sometime late tomorrow !!!
Cheers old mate Her rate of recovery will be fairly slow , though . Laura may have inherited her single mindedness and determintaion from her Mum , but ( unfortunately ) she is a very weak girl phyically .
Kev - an hypothetical question for you.........!!!!! If the "BBS" were to send her a get well soon pressie - what would she appreciate? (apart from young Scottie of course)
