    <font size="3">Yesterday siteadmin banned Owen Blackadder for (one of) his continued online vendettas. If this continues when he returns this will become permanent.
    If any other posters continue with online vendettas on the BBS then they will also get the same treatment. This site was primarily set up to discuss Barnsley Football club and related football topics. Obviously there has always been much more to it than that. Never did we think we would have to deal with the level of abuse we now see - posters emailing other members employers or writing threatening letters to their homes. It really is sickening.

    </font><font size="3"><font color="#990000">UPDATE ** Today Mr X also received a 48 hour ban for doing exactly the same thing to several other posters within the thread asking people to keep their personal vendettas off here. :'(

    THat thread will now be removed.

    At times we have to question why we bother and why we shouldn't just pull the plug. That said, we have met a lot of decent people on here and some of the time it is worth being part of.

    Please leave the abuse off the BBS, think before you post and don't be surprised if you get banned for abusing other BBSers. If you do feel inapropriate content has been posted on the BBS please use the alert button to bring it to siteadmins attention. We can't read every thread!

    When the updated BBS comes into tact

    I reckon their should be a section for banter etc. what makes a good forum is banter. My ban was totally deserved, i went too far.
