...... this morning, and realised just how much sh*t we are in. 4 wins and 6 draws from 22 games. 2 home wins to date, last one 1.9.12. Now against that backdrop, I reckon we probably need another 30 points to be sure of staying up, so with 12 home games to go, we probably need to win at least 8 of those and pick up a win or 2 away from home or some draws. That really is a tall order given what we have done in the first 22 games. Disillusioned - really, really don't want to go back to 'Pub League 1' and all that comes with it ...... on that cheery note ..... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Mate, the chances of survival this season now are pretty remote. If we couldn't beat that shower that were put in front of us on Saturday then I'd be very tempted to say I can't see us winning another game all season. That's the worst Wednesday team I've ever seen in fact it's the worst visiting team I've seen at Barnsley for years. I actually think the points needed to stay up this season will be lower than ever (not that it will help us because we won't get 35 points at this rate).
I agree with that pal, they were truly abysmal and got all 3 points, we desperately need them, plus Peterbrough and Bristol City to keep getting battered every week while we sneak a few poxy draws and the odd win here and there
This season reverse of last 6 Post Christmas surge, pre Christmas collapse. No worries. Morning drinking is ace.
Perkins back, start with Jim O'Brien, stop fecking around with the central defensive pairing, stop making so many changes each week and we'll **** it. I'm half way through the wine rack already. U Reds.
