Urgent help Needed!!

Having a joint 21st birthday party in 9 days and the band that we had booked since christmas have just pulled out.

Does anyone know of any local bands that are any good, play a range of songs, and are available at short notice?

We had planned to pay the other band £250, so would like to pay around the same.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I do weddings, birthdays, etc.

And my friend can play the recorder.

I know a few bands/solo artists that i could ask for you. Probably the best for a birthday would be a lad i know who's in a band but does solo stuff. He's fecking brilliant, does stacks of covers like Kinks, Arctics, Beatles, Paul Weller, Killers and much more and he's a cracking voice. If that's not up your street don't worry, i know shed loads of bands and they won't cost you anywhere near £250.

Sounds good to me mate,

you mite have heard of the band we had originally booked, they are called Shurrup. one of the mates is in the band but they have had a fall out meaning we lose out.

they played allsorts from the clash to u2 to phonics.

anymore info on this lad? would he be available at such short notice, and the band?

Bands don't charge that much, that's only club bands that do it for a living.</p>
