    Reight.

A mate of mine is wanting to use a TV instead of my PC monitor. He's bought one of these (http://www.kworlduk.com/products/sa235/index.php) but his TV doesn't have an AV connector.

Is it possible to buy an AV/SCART converter so he can do this or does anyone have any idea as to if this is possible or any equipment to be able to do it?

    Cheers.

    i'm no expert but yes

If i've got that right then he needs an adapter to convert a scart into a normal aerial style hole in the back of his TV? They definetly sell them.

Any idea if he has the three coloured holes in the back? yellow, red and white?

I presume u want to use the tv as the monitor. If so is it a flat screen, some makes have a vga input on the back which basically means u can use yer pc monitor cable and attach it to back of tv.

Thanks all. He does have the Yellow, Red & White connectors but the box he's bought has an AV output for connecting it to his TV. It's an old TV so doesn't have the socket you've mentioned Kez.

I thought he would be able to just get a SCART/VGA cable but obviously not.

    Cheers all.

That might be the way to go. If you get chance to test it can you let me know if it works?

    I've seen a couple online for less than a 5er & then Maplins @ £60! Rip off!
