Now leading the betting. Interestingly I did seen him outside the West Stand when we were recruiting last time. I suspect he was interviewed, might have been close last time.

Not too sure about him my self did ok at Brentford his football at Wigan was terrible according to the wigan fans I spoke to. Don't want to judge him at Leeds must be hard working under that clown. I'll support whoever gets the job though bar di canio

Why do people want a manager who played 4-5-1 at home for Leeds?

There's nothing wrong with 4-5-1 if you have the players and fluidity of movement. If you can keep hold of the ball in the centre of the park and get the wide players linking up with the striker it becomes a 4-3-3. It should only be a 4-5-1 when out of possession to make you hard to break down.

Us however need to be playing 4-4-2 which is why I think we should give it to the guys who are in charge tomorrow. If we had a more creative, mobile striker like Bradshaw at Walsall rather than a poacher like Sam a 4-5-1 wouldn't be too bad. It's all about the personnel you have.

But at Brentford he played 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 mostly and played a high tempo, fast, attacking game:

Think he would do bloody well for us, with the players we have, at L1 level.

He's the bloke I'd like. But can't see it. Perhaps next season if we go short term this one

4-5-1 is no good for our personnel.

Now Hourihane seems to fit into a 4-4-2

Wouldn't mind him in charge at all. Took Wigan to fa cup semi and play offs . Sacking was harsh. Likes pressing football. Just been reading about his Heavy metal footballing approach. Press quick tempo and fwd passing. We could do worse.

Steve Agnew has got to be worth a shout. Seems to be respected throughout football and must have some great contacts.

Middlesborough's assistant that's why Jordan wanted a move there. It's his uncle.

I'd have Rosler. Particularly over a lot of the managers on the betting odds pages.

I get the idea of going with an outsider but that would ultimately lead to the same situation we are in at the moment. Promote from within or someone with previous connections with the club and they might just stay with us . Continuity is key .
