I would play a similar line up to the games against Watford and Preston.More solid at the back and using the counter attack.Although a win makes us safe a point could also save the day.The last thing we want is to attack gung ho and get caught with the sucker punch.Lets keep it tight to secure at least a point and hopefully nab all three.
I can see what you mean but it did'nt work against Hull and once they scored that were it game over. 4-4-2 for me but we are missing width if Leon plays on the wing, someone said Howard out wide that could be way to go.
We are useless at playing for a point Almost always concede - we need to score first tomorrow or we are in big trouble We should just play at home the way we played most of the games before Xmas try to win but not being silly I suspect we will let one in tomorrow so we need to score at least one - 2 would be better
I'm not particularly saying play for a point but keep it tight in defence and midfield and lets rely on the pace of KO and JCR to stretch them. 3 points excellent,1 point great o points potential disaster.
I'm foolishly optimistic about Saturday. I think we should easily get a point which should be enough to see us through - especially if Wednesday lose.
Q: last time we won our last home game of season? A: 26th April, 2003. 5 years ago to the day. Pigs might fly. He did that day.
RE: Really? Blimey.... I'm notsure, but
98 Man Utd
99 ?
00 Crewe L
01 ?
02 Norwich
The point I'm getting at really is this issecondtime 26th April since 1997 that our final home match has coincided with that date and we won in both 1997 and 2003... lets hope the run continues !!!

RE: Really? Blimey.... 99 - drew against Watford 2001 think we lost against Bolton. Someone got sent off.
RE: Really? Blimey.... also I didn't realise it was the Brentford game, two settled our fate, lets hope that this game does as well !!!1
RE: Really? Blimey.... Also the last time we played Charlton at home in April we won 4-0 so it's a forgone conclusion really.
