Doubt it I would be surprised if Leeds came in for AR in any case Blackwell has done a great job at Leeds considering what he inherited, 7 matches in is a bit soon to be firing. I reckon Bates will give him another month then fire him just in time for us to get hit with the new manager surge when we play them in October
I was there last night And Leeds are awful. I didn't think they were much good when I watched them on Sky against Wednesday, and that was while I was in Spain on a Sunday afternoon and I was already hitting the San Miguel.
Last night just confirmed my thoughts. Horsfield and Stone were just along for the ride, Kelly couldn't get into the game and Kilgallon just seemed to be a name on the team sheet because he wasn't doing anything on the park.
When Blackwell was asked about the chanting to get him out, his response of 'I've built this team and I'm going to nowhere!' seemed to confirm that he thinks his position is safe. I'm not so sure.
There was an incident when some Leeds fans tried to get to the Sunderland dugout midst chants of 'there's only one Alfie Haaland'. When I asked Roy Keane about this after the game he just said "I thought they'd got lost".
Anyway, all in all, Leeds were crap and were thoroughly beaten by the better side. Blackwell shouldn't be too confident about his job and should be looking over his shoulder. Ken Bates won't let this go on for much longer.

RE: I was there last night definitely given his Leeds connections-hope I'm wrong but if Master Bates offers him shedloads of money he'd be daft not to consider it
