    why not train all the people who work on the checkouts at Aldi to do them, if they started monday then everyone would be done by friday and possibly have an early finish. . . . just a thought

    I was asking my local chemist yesterday if they were going to be doing the covid vacs. He said there are only 3 centres presently in Barnsley that are equipped to do them. One is the health centre at Dodworth, one is at Priory in Lundwood, and he couldn't remember the other. I said to him that it would take a long time to do all the townsfolk if that is the case. He said they are trying to prepare other places presently. A little bit worrying perhaps.

    All the nurses in Barnsley i know have been vaccinated so at least that's a start

    Dodworth, lundwood and goldthorpe at the moment in barnsley, Would it not be an idea, assuming the vaccines are available, to get the army involved and vaccinate 24 hrs a day...

    Hopefully 24/7 vaccinations gets a mention from Boris at 5 pm now it's known he's getting the army involved. I am sure if someone has to go get a jab in the middle of the night then the majority would go for the good of getting out of restrictions quicker. They need to make it as easy to get the jab as it is to vote on election day. Use churches and village halls so people can walk for one. We need to get motoring with it and not run in to problems like the EU have....

    i get my flu jab at my local gp's and have to book an appt, 3 weeks away. i mentioned this in the chemists ( in the same building as the surgery, the one at new lodge) and the chemist said " we can do it if you like, go cancel your dr appt and we'll do it now. this was last sept/oct. . . .
