    Well, on top of taking our lass out for a nice meal, buying her some flowers and chocolates - I've also done this for her. Check it out, something a bit different.

    I got my girlfriend a months supply of plumpynut high protein paste food.

    Only I didn't get it sent to her, it is getting sent directly to a starving child somewhere in the world.

    She will get a nice card through the door with a certificate in it letting her know that her valentines day present is saving the life of a child in need.

    Gifts start from just £7 all in, choose a gift, and when you pay you also get to choose a card which they deliver to your girl with your own message inside & the certificate. If your girlfriend is anything like mine she will love it.

    They are good providing the "recipient" agrees to it before hand.

    But to get a relative at Christmas saying, "Oh, I bought a well for a village in Africa as your present"! No - you decided to get that to make yourself feel good, now I've just given you a present, where the **** is mine?!
