Nobody seems bothered about enforcing the rules at Smokewell. The area at the end of the West Stand is an absolute joke - so many people stood smoking, you have to cut your way through the fog to get to the WSB
I don't think sitting next to someone vaping in the open air is going to affect either of those two health issues. But I get that it could be annoying, report to a steward.
Smoking Wasn't allowed down the pit.(obviously a dangerous environment) It used to amaze me how many miners had hiding places just outside of the mine entrance to hide their fags to get their fix afore going for a shower. Having spent over 7.5 hrs without one. (I was a heavy smoker up to 25/30yrs ago. Going cold turkey was the only way I managed to finish. Cos I was that determined to stop. None of the substitutes worked and even had acupuncture. Was gagging within minutes lol. ) Genuine question is vaping addictive. ?
Yes, they should genuinely be illegal because it's so much more palatable to young uns with it being fruit flavoured. At least with cigs you've got the fact that they're ******* horrible, create ash and make your house stink as deterrents.
