http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11685/7467062/Hammers-move-for-Vaz-Te Will Hill have enough time to get a replacement in? We will really miss some of the width and pace he provides when he plays.
Another "Sky Sports understands". I feckin hate em. If he's gone I just hope we've got a decent wedge. Good Luck to him It's time for someone else to step it up and it's time for RNL to show he's the real deal
Keef said last night he was almost certain to go, no more players in until loan window opens. But yer never know.
Keith is really going to reveal all at a sportsmans dinner isn't he. Going on yesterday's interview he says he had lots of irons in fires, I would expect he has a replacement lined up ready to come in today.
He did mate i was there. He was on and off the phone all night. The Vaz Te deal seemed to be happening throughout the night. Later in the evening he then said he was resigned to Vaz Te leaving today and in the next sentance mentioned 'the west hams of this world'. Hes gone - Keef did say that its too late now to find a permanent replacement but no panic as the loan window opens next week. By the way - It was an excellent night. Keef was quality and pretty open - Which you don't always get at these doos!! Top man!
Yep - Pretty forthright with that wernt he!! Great night though. Good snap and i thought r Keef was very likeable and came across very well.
I'd expect you're wrong. He said he'd had a bid turned down for a L2 player that'll be worth millions in a couple of years and we'd have to wait until the Loan window opens. Could change, but he seemed pretty clear abart it.
We stayed for a couple of drinks after, he stayed chatting with ours and CK Beckett's table for a bit. Interesting bloke. Completely different to the way he comes across in interviews.
West Ham fans seem very let down by being linked to Vaz Te - which given his record is hardly surprising. They seem quite certain he'll rarely even get on the bench, which seems like a terrible move for him to me. They also seem to think out whole team is set up to allow Vaz Te to play - something that is utterly wrong. Vaz Te had to work his arse off to get in our team, and began to show his class when he got in scoring positions. I think he'd be a good signing for any championship club because he can create that bit of magic to win the game on his own. I just don't understand why he doesn't go somewhere else that he'll actually play games!
I wonder who that is then? I can't think of anyone standing out at a league 2 club at the moment - any ideas?
Whilst, if true, a fee of £1.5m would be a good fee, on a personal level I'm seriously starting to think what the f*cking point is in going to watch us and spending about £400 a year to do it. It's bad enough that every summer it's the same old story of having to rebuild half the team because of the number of loan players, but now we don't even have players for a season. There's no continuity. I accept it's probably a fact of life in the league but I'm not sure I can be arsed any more.
