    from Radio Sheff:

    Vaughan expected to leave Oakwell

Barnsley defender Tony Vaughan is expected to leave the Reds before the transfer window closes next Wednesday.

Vaughan is yet to start a game for the Reds this season - the experienced defender is said to have interested a number of clubs and manager Andy Ritchie expects a deal to be completed soon.

Meanwhile goalkeeper Scott Flinders will continue to have treatment on his hip injury, but he is expected to be fit for the weekend.

I'll say one thing - give him his due for the Preston performance

If he knew he was going he still put in his all for the red shirt

    Cant fault his commitment

just a bit rash at times. am I right in saying it was hand to ball on Tuesday? not the first time he's done us up like that, but as centre halves go, I rate him above Carbon.

    I don't mind him leaving

as long as we replace him with somebody to strengthen the defence.

The penalty was n't given for his hand to ball

which the ref didn't give, despite it being blatant.

The penalty was given for ball to back of arm on Carbon.

Ref making up for missing the vaughn one earlier

    Well thats my opinion.

and have to admit I think Conlon fouled their bloke. swings and roundabouts.

    look at it another way

If you thought a new job was possible at work would you look lazy while your potential new boss was watching?
