No quotes to go with that story? Nope.
Good ol Sky and agents stirring **** again.
If Ricardo wants to leave when he is at last thriving, then god footballers must be thick. Be nice to hear a reaction from Rowing or Keith, but not holding my breath

Correct. For the first time in his career things are going for him and he is starting to realise his potentional. I think this story is just a sh1thead agent making mischief.

This line is the one that says it all
"The news has alerted a number of club's Vaz Te's possible availability in this month's transfer window with the Portuguese ace impressing at Oakwell this term."

Ie his agent is trying to drum up interest from other clubs so get him signed this jan so he can get a cut of any transfer fee

I'd have thought he might have been suggesting a new deal with a Hammil clause just in case

Interesting that keith hill was quite critical of him yesterday , eg his 'poor off the ball work' in the past or something to that effect. struck me as quite unusual after a hat trick. made me think there might be friction or that he was trying to keep his feet on the ground.

    |Having said that, anyone who saw the way he stood like an arrogant cockerel over that free kick 40 yards out in the first half might not be surprised at the 'news'. maybe the lesson is in where the ball ended up!

Rob Staton, Matthew Murray, Adam Brammer etc etc are all on it. We should find out more the next 48 hours. But just like most sensible people, they all think its agents at work, and hadnt heard of any new deal. Particularly Staton who asked Keith about Vaz Te just last week.
Time will tell. Some of the stuff on twitter, the OTT attacks on Ricardo's loyalty are just typical of some folk. Reacting to a quote-less Sly story

    This Club Is Going............................

This is the problem in a nutshell. Our declared policy since the Summer has been to "realise saleable assets". So every time we get ahead, we're likely to have to go back to square one and start bringing someone else along. T.B.H. the one that would worry me is Luke Steele. I don't know how long he's got left, but I think we'd miss him most of all.

No wonder Benny still talks of our target being "survival". Meanwhile, it's pay 30 quid a game to prop up these mercenaries until they show three games worth of decent form (then they're off!).

Precisely. They struggle to tell us apart from Burnley half of the time.

But it's still progression 5 steps forward 4 steps back, slowly but surely we are progressing as a club.
We have improved the team year on year since gaining promotion a bit at a time and untill we'r financially stable we will always have to sell but then its mostly down to players ambitions, (remember Larry May). as far as players leaving there's no problems if you have a management team that recognises amiable replacements, (life goes on).i don't know what you expect from teams of barnsleys stature, by the sounds of it too much.
as for admission prices most fans agree with you its too much and arguably the wrong policy.
one thing is certain i'd rather watch this team for £30 than sd's sides at £23.
