Bench for his first game, seems he's the preferred choice, Keef didn't expect that.

I don't think anyone expected it.

Reading the West Ham boards they seem really pleased with him, a lot commenting on his work rate, which should be credited to Hill. Bolton fans had a thread about him after our tv game against Ipswich, a lot were asking where he had learned to chase back!

    Fair play to him

Was a great servant to our club in his short spell here, but you can't begrudge him a 2nd chance at the Premier League. Decent goal tuesday night, saw it earlier.

    Re: Fair play to him

i always thought vaz te had something special ever since watching him play in a european cup tie for bolton a few years ago. seems he lost his way a little after that probably believing the press reviews he was getting at the time, but i was a bit bemused as to where his wayward career was going after such a promising start and the undoubted skill he posseses.
HillCroft can take great credit in the way they have helped him get his career on track and the workrate he has added to his cv.
with the right attitude and proper management my opinion is that vaz te can be on the same level as Nanni.
