Worked at Ventura last year on British Gas for 4 months and had to leave and move away due to family problems. Anyway, when ive phoned up to reapply, they say that i have had to work there 6 months and have left 6 months before i can reapply! I have left for 6 months but obviously only worked there for 4.

Anyway, long and short of it is, i cannot get an interview as i havent worked there the required amount of time originally, which seems stupid as they are always needing people to work there! Any help on this would be appreciated! (Y)

    its a new policy

I'd ring again, you never know with some of the spackmoids that work here. The next person you speak to might give you an interview.

Seems wierd to me, why train a brand new person up, who has never worked here before, when they can re-appoint someone who already has some sort of knowledge in the business.

    I'd ring again.

I wouldn't bank on them checking anything.

Send a PM to Journo, he works in Recruitment for the company. Might be able to advise on terms and conditions etc.

    Bloody subliminal messages eh?

I think you've got it nip??

Better rates of pay than the hell hole that is Ventura. Far better atmosphere to boot!

    Hey up like...

I work at Ventura, and have done for almost 3 years now. Its a good job i take it serious, otherwise my mortgage and bills wouldn't get paid.

I'm here working 12 and 1/4 hour days over the weekend at £9.60 an hour to be able to afford my mortgage.

How can you say its not a serious job? Its not all call taking you know. There are great career prospects at Ventura and its a bloody good job i came here, otherwise i'd have done fook all with my life!!!!
