Says stones shouldn't have as much presure on him from the fans and press. Also he shouldn't keep apologise for mistakes. Says he loves Barnsley. Mcnulty was in form in pre season and its gone wrong for him but he says players go through seasons like that at times. Happy with hassell.

John Stones is, without doubt, heading for Premiership. If he would have played in a steady/stable team/formation.............maybe his mistakes would have been less? Great player and great assett to BFC.
I think he's done an excellent job of deflecting a good deal of criticism from the players and onto himself.
If we assume this is correct, then this is very good man-management. I have not heard him "slate" any individual player in any media interview, again good man-management. Players still showing a lot of committment, again good man-management. I am praying 2012 was simply a "long sticky patch" and we are now looking up?
Rather have a positive thinking player like Stones who because he's attack minded makes the occasional mistake, then someone like Greening who never makes mistakes but only because he's afraid of taking risks.
