I know it's early doors and all that but that second half was a disgrace. And the foreigners look miles off the pace.
Hope to God it's just a blip but I don't think I saw anything today to be positive about.

I drove up from Torquay this morning and will have to suffer the consequences of cutting the wife's sunbathing fest short for at least a couple of months and all for that *****!

    My ratings for today;

Colgan 5 - Same old Colgan - For the 1st goal Kozluk forgot he didn't have Paddy Kenny behind him and, as any defender would, left the six yarder for the keeper to sort out ...oops. Should be keeping the bench warm by next week though.

Kozluk 5 - Straight from the Neil Warnock academy kept launching 70 yard balls up field. Not a great debut.

Reid 4 - Too slow and too weak. It will be a real worry if Davey isn't still trying to sign a decent CH along the Unsworth lines.

Nyatanga 4 - Sliced a few into the stands, could be the new Antony Kay, except that Kay would have won a few more headers. Him and Reid and or Souza haven't enough strength to make a decent CH pairing.

Souza 5 - Not a full back that's for sure but also struggled to win headers which was more worrying. Mark my words, he'll not cope with the physical side of the English game.

Devaney 5 - Put in a couple of decent tackles early on then went missing for the next 80 minutes.

Johnson 6 - Did well 1st half then tired badly or is he injured again? I thought Davey had got them to the peak of physical condition?

Howard 6 - Cute little penalty but didn't get going really.

Ricketts 6 - Didn't do too bad 2nd half but not much end product, looks quick but never looks 100% in control of the ball.

Firenzci 6 - Honest toiler but after a promising start is starting to look out of his depth.

Mostto 5 - Cannot speak English but can moan in any language and started doing in after about 5 minutes. Showed one or was it two nice touches but made Nardiello at his laziest look like a real workhorse.

Subs; Odejaye 6 - This bloke is a man mountain (I bumped into him at the open day and nearly shat meself) so should win every header he goes in for, why didn't he? Couldn't trap the proverbial bag of cement.

Togwell 6 - Just the bloke to throw on when you need a couple of goals, although to be fair I'd rather have his 100% than some wingeing foreigner's 50. I'm sure he'll come back in when we've had a couple more drubbings.

Werling 4 - Criminal positioning for last goal, Nelson league players are dropped for less (believe me I know).
    Worryingly bad.

Agree apart from the Odejayi (one bit he missed controlled the ball then took the ball back from the defender despite the defender beating him to the ball and then put Ricketts in on goal)

    Tis abit Negative I Agree

But 1-4 at home, first game? You'd have thought the occasion would have carried us through today, new players wanting to impress and to bust a gut. Mostto put more energy into whining than he did running today.
