News coming out of Portsmouth is that Vic is not a player of interest to Portsmouth. Rumours only.

So where does this leave the big man and his sidekick Palmer.

The cut off is tomorrow if all is to be believed.

I still say get rid of both especially now Honder's extending his stay.

I hope both go. Not been consistently good enough for us to warrant staying. Hondermarck still not had enough chances to show what he can do so glad he has stayed but Vic and Palmer shouldbe moved on.

The fact neither seem to have returned to training so far seems to indicate they are not renewing here but you never know.

Why is palmer his sidekick? Not sure i get that one.
Dont care weather he stays or goes thats upto duff. Rather keep him than oulare though i think getting oulare off the bill should be priority. If vic moves on good luck to him not the most gifted but always gave 100% effort. And we will need a new scapegoat.

Is Oulare even on the wage bill? We've sent him out on loan for 18 months (by all accounts), maybe they're paying most of his wages. I can't see us agreeing to such a long loan deal if we're still paying the vast majority of his wages, it doesn't make any sense. Particularly as the outgoing board have often been accused of penny pinching.

But it wasn't "us" that agreed the deal, it was the Conman. As to his motives, who knows? We aren't benefitting from the deal, but I bet in some convoluted way he is.

You think a club in such a poor league would be paying 7k a week or whatever he is reportedly on? I havent really been following him in his loan spell i was just glad to see the back of him but i dont think he is exacly breaking any records or even starting that often.

I'll be VERY surprised if Molenbeek are paying more than 25/30% wages

Good one. Never seen a player get as much stick as vic ive witnessed him been booed entering the field and ironic jeers leaving it never saw that with cauley.

But if folk question cauleys scoring record or compare it to other players last season on the 7 goals from open play he scored the season before then its unfair? Thats not a scapegoat its just saying he needs to score more from open play...

So did the whole team & to be fair why when people discuss Cauley throw the goals from open play comment in ? its as if penalty"s & set pieces do not count, forwards spend hours practising these skills & the number what get missed or saved is quite high , I think the fact that he has gone back to the championship says it all , we will not replace him with someone anywhere near his standard much like what happened with Mowatt but plenty on here were happy to see him go as well .

The whole team got slagged to bits on here and everywhere else for that matter we were a laughing stock. No one said penalties dont count but we finished 5th the season before and he got 7 from open play i think even he will have been disappointed with that dont you? And vic scored 1 less than him last season playong fewer games and (2 of those coming from set plays) like i said i never saw woodrow getting booed onto the field or cheers coming off so not sure where you get the scapegoat tag from just people expecting abit more from the then club captain and highest earner?
Also i always knew mowatt would be a big miss class act for us in all his time with us while properly managed.

Vic 7 goals in 78 appearances for Barnsley , Woodrow one of the best goal scorers in the clubs history with 57 goals , they are poles apart , you mentioned the word scapegoat , not sure why , I have never known any player getting booed coming on to the pitch although I do remember Michael Chopra getting booed when he scored for us which was totally out of order.
