Nice one! I already have DVDShrink but not sure now how to use it to do that. I'll give it a go.

I had some video on my V+ box (Chelsea and Wembley matches, plus some other stuff) that I have burned to DVD, but there are loads of stuff on the discs like adverts etc that I want to cut out, and reburn after editing. Is that possible to do?

It's not difficult, but it can be fiddly if you need to make a LOT of edits.

[1] Open up DVDShrink and load up your disk.
[2] Hit the "Re-Author" button at the top of the screen
[3] You should see the various "titles" on your DVD in the right hand panel.
[4] Drag one of the titles across to the left hand panel and then right click on it. You can then set the "Start / End Frames"
[5] Just keep doing this until you have everything you need in the left panel (you can keep dragging the same title across if you want different bits).
[6] When you have finished hit the "Backup" button and burn as normal...

Hope thats clear enough - if not, post back and I'll try to help more.

Worked a treat! Cheers again mate! Didn't know you could do that editing within DVDShrink.

Btw, is Windows Movie Maker any good for this sort of thing?

You know those videos I put together last summer - I did them all on Movie Maker and it really is a piece of piss. I understand that it's fairly limited if you have grand ambitions, but you can do a lot that looks pretty good. I enjoy playing with it. The other bonus is, it's already there on your system so it's not going to screw your windows up or give you a virus or something...

If you want any pointers, give me a shout, not that I'm brilliant or owt.
