I'm looking to buy my little un (he's 6) a game console for Christmas... His Nan,s got him a PSP but I think they're more of a portable thing. I wanted to get him a console he could set up in his room. He's also a footy fan so any ideas for games would be appreciated. Ta in advance..

To be honest mate...... Pro Evo 6 is the best footy game ever, but lacks a lot of features on X-Box 360 compared to the PS2 version. Personally I would wait for the PS3 in March, but as he is only 6 years old I'd be tempted to get him a PS2 (still the biggest selling console this christmas despite its age). Still an awesome machine, and enough to spend on a 6 year old IMO.
