Does anyone know if its possible to stream Video over the mains or via some wireless system?
I have a BT vision box and an Apple TV box which I connect to the main TV but I also have a second TV in another room
For programs that aren't on Freeview ( eg BT sports, Skysports, or something I recorded earlier) how can I get this to my second TV without moving the box or running a 10m HDMI cable through the house

An ideal would be something like video over the mains in the same way you can do ethernet over the mains but I cant find something that does this.
Anyone got a solution - it must be a common problem

Look into buying a slingbox. I have one and can watch my tv anywhere I have an Internet connection. You can change channels , set stuff to record etc.

I wondered about that I can see how that works for viewing on my PC but how do you connect your second TV?
also how does it change channels on a BT vision box?

It has a little remote sender thing that you place infront of the bt box that transmits the signal to the box as if it was a remote control. I just connect my laptop to the tele via the HDMI socket.

Ah OK thanks - the remote solution makes sense
Using the laptop for the second TV also makes sense but isn't so convenient

Lot cheaper than the Maplin solution Gally suggested though
