http://msn.football365.com/story/0,17033,13852_4055588,00.html

Nemanja Vidic has rained considerable doubt on his future at Manchester United by revealing that he cannot abide the weather in England's third city.

Speaking to a Russian magazine, Vidic described the population as being as gloomy as the weather itself and said the highlight of Manchester was the train station where people could escape to less rainy destinations.

"I will never stay to live in England, that's for sure," the Serbian told Russian magazine Football Weekly. "You get only a brief glimpse of sunlight before it's all cloudy again. The winters are mild, but in summer the temperatures seldom go higher than 20C. And it rains, rains, rains.

"In future, I would like to test myself in another top league. I'm thinking of Spain. At least there will be no reason to complain about the weather. In England, they say that Manchester is the city of rain. Its main attraction is considered to be the timetable at the railway station, where trains leave for other, less rainy cities."

While Mancunians might sympathise with Vidic's opinion of their weather, they are unlikely to be so tolerant of his opinion of them.

"It's not only the weather that I'm not happy about here," he continued. "In Russia and Serbia the people's way of life is similar. In England it's totally different. Here they just don't have time to feel the joy of life.

"Throughout the week they all work so hard. They only talk to people at lunch break. Then in the evening they come home and watch the telly, so they can get up early for work the next day."

Loved his comment about the highlight of Manchester being the train timetable...surely he didn't really say all that?!
Manchester would not be a big city if it weren't for its climate. That said, people who live there should accept the weather and stop being such miserable Barstewards.
Especially when he's on such good money no doubt!
That said, I wouldn't be keen to live there

Miserable lovely person. No different here than any other cities. Has to be one of the best cities in Europe. Says he can’t find anything to do. Has he been out of his house? Theres plenty to do on an evening. Move back to Serbia then you dirty scum. Seems he had a go at the English way of life more than anything.
