Lucas should have been booked, carragher should have walked and then to top it off he indicates 5 minutes of stoppage time (isn't that generally agreed 2 minutes from full time) and during that time there is a substitution and a sending off plus most likely vidic's sending off as well yet after 5:27 seconds extra when liverpool scored he called it a day. A substitution and a sending off (or two) added up to in total 29 seconds of extra time added on. He allowed liverpool to celebrate their goal for 1 minute and 25 seconds in the opposition half without booking anyone for time wasting.

Are there any good refs?

Would agree about Lucas though, but I'd also say Vidic should've been booked a long time before his first yellow</p>

Great win for Liverpool though, very much deserved in my opinion </p>

I think Carragher had to go. He knew exactly what he was doing and Owen was in for a clear goalscoring opportunity. Definite professional foul.

 

It was reasonably wide

and I think other defenders might have got across. Perhaps he was fortunate, but then Vidic fouled Torres everytime he went near him and like I say, was lucky to avoid a booking for so long</p>

I think he used his common sense to just blow the whistle straight after kick off. They weren't going to gain anything from carrying on another 30secs.
