Sounds like quite a good view ..... although the Toon website does state this :- "Be warned though that it is a climb of 14 flights of stairs up to the away section  and that you are situated quite far away from the pitch. So if you are scared of heights or have poor eye sight then this may not be for you!"

let's just hope everyone makes it up all the flights of stairs in time 4 kick off :D :D

I've sat on the back row of the tallest stand at St James's, it is a hell of a long way up! Shattered by the time you're up there!

I've been taking the piss all week to the geordies as i deliver bikes to Ken's Motorcycles which is behind the ground, and a few others on Westgate.

I'm toying with the idea of going on the bike for a quick getaway.

    The away stand...

Is a tiny corner at the top of the stand between the John Hall Stand and the main stand... very clever because with all the home fans singing (which they normally are), being right up there means it's almost impossible to be heard.

    Very true...

Although generally they're pretty good at home and awful away.

    Very valid point though.
