View from Grenoside - the Fletchers bakery fire.....Wadsley Bridge

From up on the hill where I live we could see smoke & flames but didn't know what had gone off - should have seen the panic on my husbands face when he thought it was Hillsborough that had gone up in smoke.
Still smells like burnt toast now.

 

Started Saturday about 10 O'clock. Fletchers belongs to Northern Foods and it was supposed to be sold off as a going concern. Now Looks like Northern Foods will not re-build, pocket the Insurance and 700 people will be on the rock and roll.
