Can't be bothered to look through all the posts, so sorry if some of it is repeated.

Whilst the performace wasn't the best, especially second half and the negative tactics against a very poor Doncaster side the job was done and we claimed 3 vital points.

Another strong performance from the back 5, including Muller. Moore and Souza are starting to look more solid, can't understand why people still moan at him.

Despite playing 5 men across the middle it did appear that we still allowed Doncaster too much time on the ball even though they rarely did anything with it. One thing we did comment on is how Anderson and Colace are going to cope with more nights like last night. Freezing temperatures don't mix with them! Not a good performance from Devaney but have to wonder how much him pulling up in the first couple of minutes actually impacted him.

Macken did his job and grabbed the goal. Problem last night was that when played upto him again we didn't have anyone close to him to feed off and progress further up the pitch.

Finally full credit to the away following. Great support. Shame the Doncaster fans couldn't contribute to the atmosphere. If they can't get fired up for a Derby game I hate to think what they are like Vs anyone else!

    Wingers - Devaney

By their very nature will have games when they contribute little. However, both Devaney and JCR put a shift in for the team week in week out. At the minute JCR is one of the most consistent performers in the team.

The stick Devaney gets is unjustified. He's a creative flair player. At times that part of his game is sacrificed for the team and he gets on with it.

We are very fortunate imho to have 2 wide men of such calibre in our team.

Give Hume a rest and start Mostto on Saturday.

He's struggling to get to half time.

I'm not giving Devaney stick, just pointing out that last night wasn't one of his best games. Whether that was down to tactics or maybe injury when he pulled up early in the game, even the normal tracking back / challenges etc weren't visible.

Play Hulme in his correct position and we'll get the rewards from him! Fair play to him he runs himself into the ground, just see the point last night in the 2nd half.

Disco isn't half the player he was last season and season before

He's not not trying hard enough, or isn't good enough. Often loses the ball, crossing ispoor and doesn't always get stuck in when the opposition have the ball.

I've seen him play really well this season (Wednesday), but I've seen him playing poorly a lot more often. Honestly don't know whats going on with him.

colace is from buenos aires and they have cold winters there, not much difference to ours, so i dont think its fair to say cold winter days or nights will be too much of a culture shock to him...
