Arrived at 7:40 for 7:30 to 7:45 entrance time, no queue plenty of helpful polite stewards sanitizing turnstiles. Our seats were low on the Eastside of the north stand. Given a choice I wouldn't watch from behind the goal or lowdown.
I haven't watched any of the game back yet.
Not having been for over a year this team of ours are very fit strong and much quicker than appears onscreen. Hellik and DK are immense. From my viewpoint the Swansea no5 waited for a touch from DK then sat down and ref bought it repeatedly. No44 was all over him niggling and provoking when play was down field, bit frustrating for Daryl. Difficult to comment on the goal from back there, but other than coming deep and some whingeing Ayew probably should have been stopped getting into that situation to score. There was some talk on here the other day re Mowatt v Hourihane. Alex all day long for me. Connor concentrated on time wasting and trying to wind up Palmer with some assisting the officials. On that performance can see why villa let him go and Swansea fans don't rate him. He had one opportunity from their right to put in good free kick which he wasted. The player we had would have done better. Linesman on our left had a shocker. Ref fell for the time wasting and play acting. 2nd half looked better from the off but too far away to judge any of the chances.
There looked a lot more spaces in the stands than I expected. Some folk on here said they had seats back row of upper east but it was empty. Where did you sit?
Great for get back looking forward to Saturday.
