    on sky sport news, another one of there best players leaving, they will surely start to slip down into relegation places soon if they do not replace these, so a better chance for us to get out.

    they are in for constantine i think. newell will probably spend the cash wisely.

    yeh they will pick up all league 1 stars like constantine and also few older prem heads with the money they have got. but you don't know how much debt they have got or the financial situation there, but i should imagine they will be able to bring in the players they want.

    Newell won't see much of that 2.5 million, he hardly saw a penny of the Nicholls and Howard money.

    Birmingham must be close to financial problems.. Board admitted earlier in week that they have gone over the overdraft (5 million reported) and bank chasing them for it. No cash left to spend. Basicallyhad toget the directors, etc to fund this signing so that the promotion push doesn't fall!!!! Must be desperate to make it this year now!

    The reason they have signed Vine is due to the injuries to their current strikers. Bruce felt he didn't have enough cover, so they went for Vine.
